I had the exact realization, not from a therapies but when after having been to India and posting about it on my Instagram, facebook and even on Medium, a close-ish friend of me who I havent seen on a while asked me ‘so what have you been up to?’ and I said ‘well I was in India as you might know’ and he looked at me with blank eyes, and then said, ‘ha, I had no idea, what where you doing there?’. And right there it hit me, it’s not that they don’t like me, it’s simply that people have their own problems, and their own life going own. And that was scary, as I had lived so much trying to please people, but also sooooo liberating. Definitely something everyone should realize sooner or later.
