Tell Me in What Scene You Cry and I’ll Tell You What You Desire
This one is for those of us that shed a tear or two during movies.

Try to remember the last time you cry during a film. Try to remember what exactly made you cry, what scene was it, and what was going on. I have the theory, based on my experience and of some close to me, that the moments you cry at tells a whole lot about your deepest desires, regrets, and fears. Sounds too deep, right? But let me explain.
A friend of mine, let’s call him Troy. He is a very outgoing person, and very secure of himself. Yet, whenever we watch films in which the main character leaves his family to go on a great adventure or to answer a life calling, my dear friend Troy starts to produce waterfalls out of his eyes. Maybe he is just a sensitive guy, but he won’t cry if the little puppy dies or when the girl gets her heartbroken. That leaves me wondering.
He cries only when it is this leaving-the-family-for-a-greater-purpose moment. So, I’ll go out on a limb and say that he wants to be able to do that. He has left his family since he is living abroad but he still carries a lot of responsibilities towards them, having to send money back and take care of his little sister as he is the son of a single mother. Whenever he is confronted by what he wishes he could do…
